简介:Isabel is rejected by the forest brigade to which she belongs for attacking a real estate development responsible for forest fires. When she decides to continue on her own, she faces loneliness and frustration, in an encounter that will question the meaning of her struggle.
"Did you want fire, you shits?" shouts Isabel as she throws a Molotov cocktail against a "mountain subdivision" sign. The fury. Then, the other fire: the vegetation is burning. Isabel knows who is responsible. And so do the other volunteer brigade members. Isabel is a character with the anger and morals of a western; once again, the excuse of civilization to disguise idiocracy with fire-retardant assholery. Isabel is irreducible. She goes in. The western continues. The feat of filming the epic of the flames appears, another stubborn person appears, and the screen breathes, it fills its lungs. Little by little, with solidity, with moral and genre footsteps, the short film moves forward, understands that the stubborn in cinema are a surgical wound to the world that burns.
